Recently renovated, this apartment is just gorgeous, with a really efficient layout. When you enter the building, there is an ornate marble staircase that has been featured in several movies. The floor to ceiling windows in the living room provide lots of natural light and have electric blinds, operated with a remote control. The floors are hardwood.
The main sleeping area is a large loft with two single beds and a large bed (slightly smaller than US King, but larger than a US Queen).
The living room also has a sofabed, so there are beds for six, but we prefer to rent to parties of 4 or fewer. There is also an entertainment area in the living room with a flat screen TV, stereo, and DVD player.
The dining area seats six. The apartment has ample storage and two closets each for clothes and linens. The dining area looks out onto a wide courtyard, and there is ample natural light.
The separate kitchen has been completely remodeled and has a pass-through window to the dining area. The kitchen has a brand new stove with and is very well equipped. It has a 4-burner electric stove with oven, exhaust fan, microwave, dishwasher, a large fridge, and a stainless steel sink. There are granite countertops.
The bathroom has been totally remodeled, and has a shower and sink. The toilet is separate, and there is a washer and separate dryer near the kitchen.
The apartment is located in a very chic/safe area just opposite the beautiful Parc Monceau and Rue Levis, a short walk to Champs Elysees. The area is home to a several block long well-stocked market that caters to the affluent neighborhood residents, restaurants and transport.
All services needed are 5 mins away at Metro Villiers, it is a 5 min walk to Champs Elysees.

Two writers have owned this apartment for 20 years. It now serves as their Paris pied-a-terre, as they spend 90% of their time in their country house in Burgundy.
There is one bedroom with a large double, new bed (slightly smaller than US
King, but larger than a US Queen). The double living room with four windows is very quiet at the rear of the building, overlooking the courtyard. The living room has a futon, a wall of books, and exquisite Irish linen curtains throughout.
The floors are carpeted and the apartment has ample storage and two closets each for clothes and linens. The dining table seats six, and a sideboard holds company china and silverware, etc.
The separate kitchen is large by French standards and very well
equipped. It has a 4-burner electric stove with oven, exhaust fan,
microwave, dishwasher, full size fridge, and a double sink. The
counter is tiled, as is the floor.
The bathroom has a large tub with shower, a washer and
separate dryer, and tiled floors and walls. The kitchen, bathroom
and separate toilet room have windows.
The Ile Saint Louis was the only planned development in Paris, being settled in the 17th Century, when many lovely hotel particuliers were built. Our apartment is in a small 18th century building, and occupies all of 1er etage (2nd floor American).
Most of the buildings on the Ile Saint Louis are now protected, and cannot be modified or torn down. Many famous people have called Ile Saint Louis their home over the centuries, such as Balzac, President Pompidou, and Helena Rubinstein (who tore down a beautiful building in the 50′s and constructed something in the Art Deco Style).
The building dates from the 18th century and is secure and well-maintained. A business office is on the ground floor, so there is nothing happening after business hours. A preschool garden is directly opposite and the children go home at 4 or 5 pm.

Quai des Grands Augustins and the Seine. We will fax you the floor
plan on request. Bathroom completely remodeled in 2011.
We did a lot of research and looked at a lot of apartments before buying Git le Coeur. We wanted a place in a cool neighborhood that was easily accessible to all the major attractions, yet not in the most touristy area.
The Git le Coeur apartment has a fabulous view of the Seine from the living room and bedroom. You can also see part of the Louvre, the Pont Neuf, and Le Quai des Orfevres as you watch the boats (filled with less fortunate visitors) pass by your window.
The site was formerly the palace of a mistress of Francois 1er. This burned down in 16th Century, and was replaced by 4 separate structures. One is Hotel du Vieux Paris, which used to be a seedy hotel where Jack Kerouac and the beats holed up – it now has four stars. The apartment is in a small charming 17th Century building on 3ieme etage – four floors up. There is no elevator. The apartment occupies the entire floor, and is very well laid out – with no wasted space – although it is only 50 m2.
The apartment is fully equipped and accessorized for comfortable elegant living. Most of the linens, china and silver were purchased in the USA. There is a new flat screen TV with premium cable channels such as CNN, BBC, and Canal Jimmy, as well as free WiFi. Bring your laptop and you can get online quickly and easily. The apartment is in one of the most beautiful and prestigious areas of Paris, and very close to all major attractions. It has two bedrooms, two full bathrooms and is a very spacious 80 m2, with a 22 m2 terrace.
The apartment is painted in neutral colors throughout and hardwood floors were installed in 2004. We also updated the kitchen and bathrooms.
There are two bedrooms at the quiet rear of the apartment, each with a king size bed. Both bedrooms open onto the terrace. There is also a separate kitchen with a new four-burner gas stove, oven and a new dishwasher. The kitchen window looks onto the terrasse. A casual dining area / office area off the kitchen also looks onto the terrace. The casual dining room is furnished with a table to seat six and a sideboard that holds china, etc.
The double living room with four windows looks onto the trees of the preschool across the street. The children go home at 4 or 5 pm, so there is no noise after this time. There is an antique mahogany dining table with eight chairs along a beautiful exposed stone wall. The table can seat 12 with two leaves. Also in the living room is a sofabed, which opens into a double bed.
One bathroom has a shower, a new Bosch washer and a dryer, and a toilet. There is another bathroom that is split — a toilet and sink are in one room, and a tiled shower is in another. See the Photos for more details, including a floorplan.

The apartment is 75 m2 (800 ft2) and is very well laid out with no wasted space. It is on the top floor of an 18th Century building that was bought and totally renovated and reconfigured in 2005.
The apartment sleeps six easily with two bedrooms and a double sofa bed in the living room. The master bedroom is large and has a small balcony. The 2nd bedroom has two twin beds. Both bedrooms have large closets and views.
From the living room, dining room and 2nd bedroom you can see the spires of Notre Dame Cathedral and the tip of the Eiffel Tower.
There are hardwood floors in the foyer, living room and dining room. There is carpet in the bedrooms and slate floors in the bathroom and kitchen.

Ile Saint Louis is one of the most upscale and sought after locations in central Paris. Some people say it resembles a village within the heart of Paris due to the island location.
It is extremely secure, having both a main door entry code and a second code to use the elevator. The street below has a good amount of foot traffic during the day, yet it is especially quiet at night after all the restaurants close.
You can quickly walk to the Marais, Saint Michel, Notre Dame, Opera Bastille and the Metro if you are looking for bigger night life. The Grands Magazins on Blvd Haussman, the Louvre and Opera Garnier are all straight shots on the Metro. We are near 3 metro stations– Saint Paul on line one and Sully Morland and Pont Marie, both on line 7. In addition, there are about five bus lines within five minutes walk.
The all electric kitchen is modern with black granite counters, new stainless steel appliances, a four-burner stove and oven. The refrigerator is normal by American standards, which means it’s enormous by French standards. The dining room table seats six with comfortable upholstered leather chairs.
Included in the price are WiFi and cable TV with many channels such as CNN, CNBC and BBC. There is also DVD player.
The bathroom has a tub and shower, and a washer and separate dryer. There is an iron, ironing board and a hair dryer. more photos »

These Paris apartments are owned by four families who live in California, USA, Queensland, Australia, and Dublin, Ireland. We are of British / Australian / Peruvian / American / Irish / French origins.
One of our daughters was living and working in Paris for a year, and during this period we decided it would be wonderful to own an apartment in this beautiful city, and not to have to stay in small cramped hotel rooms. Being able to bring home the wonderful produce, cheeses, and meat etc. available in the markets makes a Paris stay much more enjoyable, not to mention less costly. Being able to have breakfast in our own apartment without dressing to go out for an expensive coffee and croissant has been wonderful as well.
We like to entertain, and we also appreciate being able to cook and welcome friends to our temporary home.
Git le Coeur:The first apartment in a small 17th century Building on rue Git le Coeur in the 6th arrondisement in February 2000, and we were immediately able to rent it using the Internet. In the process we have met many wonderful people, some people have returned every year.
Ile Saint Louis I: is on rue Saint Louis en L’Ile is in a small 18th Century building. Purchased in 2003 and remodeled. We painted it, added some modern appliances, and added hardwood floors – parquet as the French say – everywhere except for the bathrooms and kitchen.
Ile Saint Louis II: is also on Ile Saint Louis in an 18th Century building, on rue des Deux Ponts. The entire building was remodeled in 2005. We added this apartment to our site in 2009 and it is just as special as the others.
Ile Saint Louis III: is the third apartment on Ile Saint Louis in an 18th Century building, on rue des Deux Ponts. The entire building was remodeled in 2005. We added this apartment to our site in 2009 and full of character and charm.
Champs Elysees: is the third apartment on Ile Saint Louis in an 18th Century building, on rue des Deux Ponts. The entire building was remodeled in 2005. We added this apartment to our site in 2009 and it is just as special as the others.
Atelier: The apartment is in gentrifie area of 17th arrondisement. The ground floor apartment opens into a flower filled courtyard. The Apartment was a scupltors studio before being totally restored by its current owner in 2002.
We hope you will enjoy staying in our Paris apartments as much as we do.
